Race to End COVID: Dover International Speedway

Saturday, October 16 and Sunday, October 17

Drive two laps on the world-famous Monster Mile race track and 250 people will get two NASCAR race tickets for the 2022 Xfinity Series race at Dover!

You can Race to End COVID by getting vaccinated or tested at Dover International Speedway, Delaware’s home of NASCAR racing, on Saturday, October 16 and Sunday, October 17.

Starting at 12PM on Wednesday, October 6 you can sign up for:

Drive & Vaccine

Drive two laps on the world-famous Monster Mile race track in your own vehicle when you make an appointment and get a vaccination dose. Participants will take two laps behind the track’s pace car, including on the 24-degree turns of the Speedway. Drivers will go on the track in groups of up to 25 vehicles over the two days.

The first 250 people to sign up online and be vaccinated at the weekend event will also get two NASCAR race tickets for the 2022 Xfinity Series race at Dover. Your free vaccination can be first, second, third or booster, depending on what is appropriate for you. Additional information on eligibility for third doses and booster doses can be found here 🔗.

A total of 800 spots are available for driving on the track, and the sign-up is first come, first served. Driving is open to anyone with a driver’s license 16 and older, though anyone 16 or 17 years old must have a parent or legal guardian in the vehicle with them. A consent waiver will be required for driving on the track. Driving on the track will be rain or shine but may be cancelled for severe inclement weather, with no rain date.

Vaccine Only

Get vaccinated for free with first, second, third or booster, depending on what is appropriate for you. Additional information on eligibility for third doses and booster doses can be found here 🔗.

Vaccines will be available at the event on October 16 and 17 without appointment, but appointment is recommended and is required to be eligible for the race ticket giveaway.

Testing Only

Free COVID-19 testing with rapid antigen testing. Those who get tested only are not eligible for track driving or race tickets. Testing will be available on a walk-up basis. Registration is not required.

Race fans can join the Race to End COVID by getting a COVID-19 vaccine at Dover International Speedway on Saturday, Oct. 16, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. or Sunday, Oct. 17, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. As a special incentive, the Race to End COVID offers people, ages 16 and older who get vaccinated, the chance to drive their own car or truck on the famous one-mile track, known as The Monster Mile, with pre-registration.
